• This year's theme, Our World in Transition, Our World in Crisis, explores the nature of change in the world today. From developing countries to industrialized nations, every facet of society is in a perpetual state of flux creating new challenges, tensions, and potential conflicts. Leaders are faced with making decisions about problems within their nations and regions of the world that affect us all as global citizens. Will their decisions lead to peaceful resolutions and transitions or will they cause more conflicts and crises? MUN delegates will investigate some of the current issues at stake, such as rights for refugees, crisis relief, the global food crisis, and terrorism prevention.
